Blogging about the things that I love to do including learning and implementing homesteading, sustainability and permaculture practices into my daily life. I also use this blog as an online journal writing about the day in and day out happenings in my life which include balancing family, work and the needs of the homestead, all while keeping in mind that you have to stop and smell the roses and count your blessings along the way.

Happy Birthday Christopher and Casi.
Today we celebrate not one but two birthday's in our house. My son and his wife Casi are 28 today. We all think it is pretty special that they were born on the same day, my son in California and Casi here in Florida and that somehow they found each other. We know she was meant to become a part of our family.

Laura I am so happy you left a comment on my blog post, not long ago I was thinking about you and wondering how things in your world were going. The last post I do believe you were moving and your son and family were about to move in? Anyway, I am happy to add you to my side bar once again, now I am off to catch up with your blog! Sending blessings from stormy Maine, Julie of Dog trot Farm.
