Coming home after a long day at work and gladly summoning up the energy to tend to my little farm because all who reside here depend on me.
Blogging about the things that I love to do including learning and implementing homesteading, sustainability and permaculture practices into my daily life. I also use this blog as an online journal writing about the day in and day out happenings in my life which include balancing family, work and the needs of the homestead, all while keeping in mind that you have to stop and smell the roses and count your blessings along the way.

It's the little things...
that make me smile , like the first eggs from my new flock of chickens, my new milk goat, a colorful batch of homemade soy candles, a batch of freshly made goat cheese from my own goats milk.
Coming home after a long day at work and gladly summoning up the energy to tend to my little farm because all who reside here depend on me.

Pretty goat!
ReplyDeleteYour new goat is pretty cute. What is her name? and your eggs sure are pretty and look to be a good size!! and I love soy candles! Bought some a few weeks ago. I like spicy smells. How are things coming in ICU! ...debbie
ReplyDeleteThe goats name is Juniper she had that name when I got her, its funny how many blogs I have seen that have a picture of a goat named Juniper. I bought her from a family moving out of state who could not take her. The woman who owned her had raised her from a baby and she cried when I bought her. I wish she could know that she went to a good home where she is treasured.
ReplyDeleteI made a lot of holiday spicy scented candles this batch along with some lavendar and one patchouli. I am enjoying the new job but am really tired, lol. I really wish I could stay home and play. Have a great weekend.
